Get started with coding by making a game for the micro:bit!
Learn about wearable tech and coding in this workshop, where we will make a wrist mounted game using the versatile micro:bit platform. Micro:bits are microcomputers with a responsive LED array that is great for interactive designs and games. We will be programming using Python, one of the most widely used progamming languages today. Perfect for combining coding and games into a wearable project.
Bring your own micro:bit and receive a discounted ticket. If you pay the normal price you will be able to take the micro:bit home to keep coding and playing.
This workshop is a full day. Please make sure your child has lunch, snacks, drink bottle, and sun protection.
No prior experience required. Suitable for girls and boys.
